GCE/International A-Level
The UK A-Level (GCE A-Level) is a two-year high school program in the UK, comparable to Hong Kong’s former Advanced Level Examination system (Form 6 and Form 7).
一般來說，學生會選讀3-4門科目修讀，A-Level 課程側重於對學術知識的了解及應用。如學生在香港讀中學，視乎學校安排，部份或全部學科會採用國際高考（International AL / IAL），IAL 和 GCE A-level 在升學上的認受性是一模一樣，但考核範圍和題型則會有所差異。IAL 和 GCE A-level 亦會有細分不同考試局（exam boards），相關範圍又會有些微差別。
Both IAL and GCE A-level have different exam boards with slight variations. Some boards, like Edexcel IAL and WJEC GCE A level, use a Modular system where Year 12 students take AS level exams covering about half of the curriculum, contributing to their overall score. This means Modular A level students face public examinations one year earlier. Moreover, due to its simpler content compared to Hong Kong’s DSE (Diploma of Secondary Education), many top DSE students are increasingly self-studying for A levels (usually Edexcel IAL) starting from Form 4 or Form 5 to improve their university admission prospects.
IBDP (TOK, EE)
IB Diploma Programme （IB DP）是一個為期兩年的課程，比起A-Level，IB 是比較受美國認可的學歷，所以對較多對美國升讀大學的學生選擇，而且IB DP涵蓋的課目比A-Level廣泛，所以修讀IBDP的學生閱讀及寫作能力要較為高。
課程由六組學科（母語、外語、社會學、科學、數學與電腦及藝術）加知識理論、延伸論文及創意、行動與服務組合（CAS）而成。評分方面，學術科會以1至7分來評分，必修科目「知識理論」和「延伸論文」最多可獲3 分。
所以IB DP最高分為45分，而合格分數為 24 分。此外，家長需要留意學生必須要完成 CAS，因為沒有完成 CAS的學生一律不能授予 IB DP 證書。
GCSE/IGCSE
英國會考課程（GCSE）課程為期兩年，主要讓學生於Year 10 及Year 11 透過接觸不同類別的科目，於不同範疇的科目上有相對知識，在升讀英國高考（A-Level ）前清晰了解自己在不同科目的興趣及長處。
Generally speaking, students will take 8 to 10 courses, which are composed of five compulsory courses and three to four elective courses. In terms of grading standards, the passing standard of the British GCSE is 9-4 (equivalent to “A*-C” grade),
HKDSE
